Join us at the 10th EMWA Symposium: “Communicating with the public – what has the COVID-19 pandemic taught us?”

The Publication Plan are proud to be the official Media Partner of the 10th EMWA symposium, entitled ‘Communicating with the public – what has the COVID-19 pandemic taught us?’.

The one-day symposium will take place on 5th May, in Berlin, with an option to join sessions online. The event will explore the theme of communicating with the public, focusing on lessons learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic. Sessions will cover topics such as the challenge of accurately communicating benefit/risk ratios; how to write responsibly for social media; the regulators’ view; fake news; the needs of patients; and the importance of the language we use. The symposium will comprise both presentations and panel discussions and will provide an opportunity to hear opinions from a range of speakers, including regulators and representatives from industry and academia.

You can view the programme here.

Please note the symposium is open to both EMWA members and non-members: see the Fees and Registration page for further details. You can register here (for members) or here (for non-members).

The Publication Plan will also be developing a report that summarises the Symposium.
