Registrations now open: The Eighth International Congress on Peer Review and Scientific Publication
Organised by JAMA and The BMJ, in association with METRICS at Stanford, the Eighth International Congress on Peer Review and Scientific Publication will be held on 10–12 September 2017, in Chicago, USA.
Entitled ‘Enhancing the Quality and Credibility of Science’, the 3-day meeting will see original research presented on all aspects of peer review in scientific publishing. On the first day the faculty will take a look at common problems in the peer review process, before discussing possible improvements on day 2, and closing with a look at new innovations in the field on day 3. Incorporating both plenary and poster sessions, the meeting also takes the unique approach of giving over an equal amount of programme time to audience participation. The organisers highlight the meeting’s potential interest to a broad range of stakeholders – including publishers, researchers, funders and policymakers. Registrations are open now.
