The Publication Plan are proud to be the official Media Partner of the 9th EMWA symposium, entitled ‘Clinical Trials – New Trends’.

The symposium will explore the latest trends in the design, conduct and reporting of clinical trials, focusing on insights of relevance to medical writers and communicators.

The virtual symposium will start with a general overview of the evolving clinical trial landscape, drawing on the expertise and experience of faculty from across a range of disciplines to gain a wide-ranging perspective on the opportunities and challenges. Attention will then turn to developments in the analysis, publishing and presentation of clinical trial data, including the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence in data analysis and a consideration of how the pandemic-driven shift to virtual meetings is reshaping the ways in which data are presented. The symposium will close by examining decentralisation and adaptive trends in trial design, operations and data capture.
