How to submit a manuscript revision and tips on being a good peer reviewer

In a blog this week, the outcomes section editor for the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery provides tips on how authors should address peer review comments and also what they should do in the event that their manuscript is rejected.

The author also provides thoughts on how experts should approach being peer reviewers, commenting: “Reviewers ought to remember that the goal of peer review is to provide constructive feedback for the author and encourage the efforts of his/her peers.”.
