The role of openness and publishers in reproducible research

In a blog today, Iain Hrynaszkiewicz – the Head of Data and ianHSS Publishing at Nature Publishing Group and Palgrave Macmillan – provides a publisher’s views on improving the reproducibility of research, on data sharing, and on the communication of research.

His post was published in relation to the Future of Scholarly Scientific Communication events (#FSSC), which are bringing together stakeholders in a series of discussions on evolving and controversial areas in scholarly communication, looking at the impact of technology, the culture of science and how scientists might communicate in the future.
